![]() ![]() Commander Breetai was one of the Zentraedi's most experienced, loyal and brilliant Field Commanders. The metal plate which covers the right half of his face and head is a memento from an Invid conflict just a decade earlier, and adds to the fearsome giant's grim visage. It was Breetai's long history of success and cunning which prompted Dolza, Supreme Leader of the Zentraedi, to select him for the difficult quest of locating and recovering the lost SDF-1. These books were made by the Robotech Masters to convince the Zentraedi that they. As Dolza knew, Breetai would find the SDF-1, lost like a needle in an intergalactic haystack, but what he did not forsee, was the profound change contact with these "micronians" would instill in his finest commander. Exedore is the oldest of Zentraedi, even older than Dolza and Breetai. The same cunning and strategy, which had won Breetai victory after victory, would alert him to his own and his fleet's, impending termination at Dolza's hands. It was published under DC Comics Wildstorm imprint. They had experienced far too much of the micronian lifestyle and seen as contaminated. Robotech: Prelude to the Shadow Chronicles is a five-part comic book mini-series written by Tommy Yune along with the Waltrip brothers, who were previously the art-and-writing team of the Robotech II: The Sentinels comic series. Assuch, they would be subject to immediate and total extermination. However, in a bold move, Breetai would join the tiny warriors he had grown to respect, and assist them in what then seemed to be his last battle. Yet when the din of combat faded, the SDF-1, Breetai, and less than half of his fleet stood triumphant. From that point on, Breetai's respect and friendship (not mere loyalty or obligation to a new master) with the micronians (humans) is forever cemented. With his aid, an orbital Robotech Factory would be captured and brought to Earth. Leonard was, by far, the worst top-level Commander in Robotech….except for all of the others. Now, with the factory able to rebuild and repair their ships and Mecha, Breetai, his ever constant friend and advisor, Exedore, along with Lisa and Rick Hunter, are hard at work reconstructing a combined Zentraedi/human space fleet to repel any new threats from Zentraedi, Invid, or the Robotech Masters themselves. I just want it to be known, for the record that Commander Breetai does have both eyes….he just wears the plate on his head because it makes him look cool. It could seriously disrupt the balance of power. ![]() If micronian contact was dangerous to the social and intellectual development of the Zentraedi, consider seriously, for a moment, Zentaedi contact with Invid. Instead, it would be more logical, in a Master method of thinking, to relegate the Zentraedi to policing the Masters’ holdings. ![]() If that were to happen, the Zentraedi would no longer have need of the Masters. Furthermore, with the Invid being the scale of threat they were, it wouldn’t be a good idea to let the Zentraedi too close to them, in case they were to aquire knowledge of protoculture. Also, it just occurred to me, that the Robotech Masters power had to be substantially superior to that of the Zentraedi, in order to maintain proper control of them, even with psychological conditioning in place. Furthermore, if Breetai and Exedore knew about the Invid, then Leonard, who was the Supreme Commander of ALL Earth forces would have been made aware of their potential threat. The reinforcements that arrived in Southern Cross(not just Carpenter’s ship) were REF, demonstrating that the REF and the Southern Cross were in constant contact. Just like I thought they knew where tirol was, just like I thought the SDF-# and REF were seperated in contact from Earth, but some good points were raised. ![]()
